Vocational and Community Activities

Vocational Service

The Vocational Service supports people with disabilities to develop work related, daily living and community participation skills.  The service is delivered in accordance with the aspirations and needs of each participant.

Clients are aged between 16 and 65 and have a disability that is likely to continue for a minimum of six months, and present a barrier to employment and/or community participation.

An individual assessment is completed which helps to identify the clients goals and needs.  In consultation with the client, a plan is produced which follows steps that will help them to achieve their purpose through training and/or work experience.
